Tarot Journal |
Lately, I've noticed that people have been contacting me for readings over YouTube and certain social media. Most asking the same question about their boyfriend or girlfriend, husband or wife.
Which I expect to hear but recently I started noticing that people are asking, what they have to do to prepare for readings. Asking if they need to bring something or do something prior to getting ready.
My first gut reaction is to "just show up" Lol
I've never understood the need for a client to get ready for a reading but then I've always been a spur of the moment kind of person.
I get it, not everybody is the same....not everyone is a crazy Sagittarius like me! So I decided to write this really quick little blog post of things that you might want to do before getting a reading.
So let's being!
Do Your Research!
Make sure that before you book a reading with any psychic or tarot reader that they are the type of psychic that you're looking for.
Prepare Some Questions
Take some time to really think things through of what you want to ask and what you want to know. The last thing you want is to get home and realize that you forgot to ask one very important question. Before you schedule your reading or a day before your scheduled reading is to take place take the time to think of some questions.
Just Relax
Be relax, not tense or nervous because sometimes that closes off your energy. So it's harder for the psychic to read your energy. It doesn't have to be fancy just anything that puts you in a relaxed mood. For me, I like listing to music and dancing around my room. But that may not be your cup of tea and that's ok. Your best bet is a guided meditation.
Keep An Open Mind
Try not to come into a reading with predisposed notions of what you're going to see or experience. All psychics read differently we are all individuals.
Take Note
Bring something to take notes with or tape the reading if you can, you never know what you might hear. Make note of what resonates with you, as well as things that don't quite fit or make sense. It's easy to reference back what is said and it might help you see connections of future events that the tarot reader has mentioned. Or you're like me and very forgetful.
Don't Be Rude
Remember that we're all human and we are not perfect. So if you're getting a reading and the outcome wasn't what you expected or what was said was not accurate, don't be rude. Most of the time it's just miscommunication between you and the psychic/tarot reader, which easily can be resolved.
Last but not least...
Enjoy It!
Above all else, enjoy the experience! A powerful psychic reading should feel like a conversation with a friend, not an enemy. So laugh have fun!
I hope that this gives you the confidence to know and be able to go to a reading without any fear.
